To continuously promote the convergence, coordination and reliance of medical device regulation and effectively encourage the innovative development of the global medical device industry, the Global Harmonization Working Party (GHWP) and the Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions signed a strategic cooperation agreement on November 22nd, 2023. According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two parties are scheduled to jointly set a thematic exhibition area for GHWP, from April 11th - 14th, 2024 during the 89th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF).

The thematic exhibition area for GHWP will be located at the north lobby of 89th CMEF. It will display the background and introduction of GHWP, as well as brief introductions of different definitions and regulatory pathways of innovative medical devices in the jurisdictions of GHWP member countries and regions.
