The 3rd GHWP (Guangzhou) Academy Training Notice (1st round)

To further enhance the regulatory capacity of member countries and regions of the Global Harmonization Working Party (GHWP) and to promote innovation in biomaterial to support global public health, the GHWP will hold the 3rd GHWP (Guangzhou) Academy training. Please find the relevant arrangements outlined below:

I. Training Theme

 "Innovative Biomaterial Promotes Global Public Health"

Based on the feedback from previous training sessions in 2024 and preliminary research, the 3rd Training Program in 2025 will integrate global and regional industrial development trends and regulatory priorities, with a focus on innovative biomaterials and advanced non-active medical devices. This training will focus on concrete industrial domains, technological frontiers and regulatory practices. Frontline regulators and top experts will be invited to present.

Training Dates: May 14-16, 2025

Training Place: Guangzhou, China

IV. Training Methods and Content

Training Method: This program will combine lectures, penal discussions, Q&A sessions, hands-on training and parallel exchanges. Topic 1 on GHWP priorities on the first day will be available via live global streaming.

Upon completing the required training hours, official participants will be awarded the "Global Medical Device Regulatory Capacity Enhancement" completion certificate issued by GHWP (Guangzhou) Academy.
